BMC demolished , Red Chillies VFX canteen , in Goregaon

2,000 square feet canteen , of Red Chillies production , in Goregaon , has been razed , today , by the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation ( BMC ) , apparently , because it was an illegal construction .

A statement , released , by a senior civic official , says , “ The demolishing act , took place in Maxx building , in Goregaon west  ,on the fourth floor , which housed the canteen , for the employees of Red Chillies production house . Moreover , it was an illegal construction .

Kiran Acharekar , the deputy municipal commissioner , supervised the demolition process .

Red Chillies VFX department , on the other hand , claimed , the canteen was only operational  , as the people , use the area , outside the canteen , to eat the food , they get from home . “ Red Chillies productions  , are not the owners of the property , but the tenant , as mentioned in the papers . The part of the building  , that , the BMC has pulled down , has the energy saving solar panels , which provides clean energy , to the whole VFX building ” , said Red Chillies VFX department ,  in an official statement .

Red Chillies VFX department , has also claimed , to bring it to the notice of BMC .
