Digital
Domain, one of the giants, leading edge providers of visual effects which has a
mesmeric experience, has launched its business studio in Hyderabad, India on 5th
November, 2017.
India
has become the current point as a digital hub, and that includes the recent
modernistic openings in Asian countries like Beijing, China & Hong Kong. The 10th universal studio was
launched in Hyderabad, which has ear marked the digital world.
The
Telangana IT minister, KT Rama Rao opened the second largest visual effects
studio at Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Waverock in Hyderabad.
At
the launch, K.T.Rama Rao Guru applauded Digital Domain for choosing Hyderabad as
its base. It was a moment of pride, as the foundation for the emblematic Image
Tower was established in Hyderabad. On the seeing the clippings, the minister
lauded the existing team, as they pledged to expand the company to a workforce
of 500 employees.
IT
secretary Jayesh Ranjan in his address praised Digital Domain for setting up
the VFX infrastructure in Hyderabad. He also expressed strongly that it will be
an anchorite in developing the VFX industry in the province of Telangana with a
view to build the skill ecosystem in the near future.
Digital
Domain is based in Hyderabad’s IT/ITES Economic Zone quadrangle, joining other
cutting edge brands like Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook & Google.
Furthermore, Digital Domain has an international market presence in Los
Angeles, New York, Portland, Vancouver, London, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei and
Hong Kong.
Sudhir
Reddy has been elected as Head of Digital Studio. In the past, he has worked
intently with DD’s North American workforce, with approximately 20 years of hands
on experience in Reliance Mediaworks.
The former CEO, Venkatesh Roddam of Mediaworks joined DD as a senior
strategic advisor as well.
The
illustrious state-of-the-art ecosystem set up in Hyderabad makes it an alluring
zone for Digital Domain. Merged with the
smarthphone & bandwith expansion in this terrain, the expectations of the
people have soared high but, the global CEO of DD, Daniel Seah, is all set to
cater to the Indian masses.
